After a year long hiatus, Mickey Factz releases his 1st soundtrack to the masses, Mickey MauSe. Mickey Mause is a pseudo character created by RCA artist Mickey Factz who is thrown into the 1980′s as a graffiti writer who was among the stars of that decade: Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Kenny Scharf, Fab Five Freddy, then mentor Andy Warhol, etc. He flourished as a writer but was later kicked out by his parents for being a troubled youth.
MauSe complies the final entry of his memoirs, speaking on a chance encounter with Tony Schafrazi, the famous art curator. Trailer 3 concludes the 3 part trailer of Mickey Factz’s highly anticipated soundtrack, Mickey MauSe, Being released promptly at 3:26 pm on March 26th on mickeymau5.net.
To celebrate the life of Keith Haring I decided to have a free flowing moment in art. With the assistance of Jake Bouvy, we create a piece of art that tells a detailed story of the time period Mause lived in.
Mickey Factz puts together a sampler of music from the project titled Mickey Mau5 (mouse). Mickey Mau5 (think T.I. v. T.I.P.) is a psuedo-character created by Factz to tell the tale of a kid growing up in NY during the street graffiti era of Fab 5 Freddy, Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf, Jean-Michel Basquiat, etc.
Complete with a sound-bed sampled from Deadmau5 & Dangermouse production, the release date is not confirmed but videos are coming out in the next few weeks or so.
