Tonight at midnight, Sir Michael Rocks will release his anticipated album, Banco on iTunes. Here’s one of the most anticipated cuts, “Lost Boys” which features Mac Miller & Trinidad James. This isn’t THAT bad at all. Don’t judge it by the Trinidad James features.
Stream the cut after the jump. Pre-order here.
Mac Miller released an album titled, Watching Movies With The Sound Off, which was very underrated to me. Anyways, Mac decides to liberate a track that didn’t make the cut of the album titled “Melt”. The track was produced by none other than Pete Rock and features ScHoolboy Q. You can’t deny Mac Miller and ScHoolboy’s chemistry on the mic, and to be honest this should’ve made the album. Pete Rock really laced Mac with a smooth instrumental.
Since parting ways with Rostrum Records Mac has shown no signs of slowing down. After releasing several records under his alter ego Larry Fisherman he returns as Mac with a new visual from his Watching Movies With The Sound Off album which is out now. Directed, of course, by Rex Arrow Films.
After releasing the single last week, Chuck Inglish returns this week with the official video for his latest leak “Came Thru/Easily”. The song features Mac Miller and a solid verse from Ab-Soul (who is slowly but surely catching my attention). The video is definitely inspired from The Beastie Boy’s “Sabotage”.
On February 11th, 2014, The Cool Kids front man Chuck Inglish is set to release his debut studio album, but before that he treats the fans with a single from his upcoming EP, Easily. Here’s the first taste “Came Thru/Easily” which features Ab-Soul & Mac Miller. Yes Sir Michael Rocks is featured on the EP.
Check out the track below, but peep the tracklisting after the jump.
After releasing “Dark Knights” featuring Wale, Rapsody has released a brand new track from her forthcoming mixtape, She Got Game. The track is entitled “Generation” and features Mac Miller and Jared Evan. Produced by 9th Wonder, and the DJ Drama/Gangsta Grillz hosted mixtape is scheduled to drop August 20th.
Premiered by 2DBZ.
On July 30th, Pete Rock & Camp Lo are set to release the sequel to “80 Blocks From Tiffany’s”, entitled 80 Blocks From Tiffany’s Part II. Here’s the first release “Megan Good” which features Mac Miller.
Features on the album are set to include Talib Kweli, Ab-Soul and Uncle Murda. Listen below.
Today is a great day for great music to be released on this date. Most anticipated albums like Kanye West Yeezus album, J. Cole ‘s Born Sinner are what exactly fans need. Although they were two major albums that were released that (most) fans recognize but there were a lot of great quality album that were released as well. Regardless if the albums sprung a leak, it’s still a great day to be apart of the music culture and be able to witness this. Other albums that were released date were Mac Miller – Watching Movies With The Sounds Off, Kelly Rowland – Talk A Good Game, Statik Selektah – Extended Play, and more.
