Magazine Cover: Esther Baxter Covers KING Magazine

For their Sept/July edition, Joe Budden ex flame Esther Baxter covers KING Magazine. In the magazine she talks about Joe Budden (of course), before meeting him and etc.

Unfortunately, there’s been more focus on your recent public split with rapper Joe Budden. He does have a track record when it comes to being associated with video models. Did you know this going into your relationship?
With me, I had no idea who he was, what he did, or any of his music.

Seriously? You didn’t know about his hit record, “Pump It Up”?
No, I thought Swizz Beatz did that song.

Ouch.
I didn’t know anything about his past. And I judged him by who he was and who he presented himself to me.

Magazine Cover: Mashonda Covers King Magazine

Wow, Swizz Beatz you lost a good one, no really you did. Mashonda covers King May/June 2011 issue. Below she speaks on her role in VH1s “Love & Hip Hop” and her relationship with Emily on the show.

You’re also focused on Love & Hip-Hop. So the show does not revolve around you.

Exactly. I did a few episodes [first], then ended up doing a lot of episodes because the chemistry was perfect with me and Emily. I ended up being a recurring guest, and it worked out perfectly, because I’m on the show and people get to see me and hear my stories. But it’s not like a character that’s 100 percent there.

What is your role with Emily?

I’m like her support system, her counselor. I feel like a female Dr. Phil. That person who gives her advice and is not afraid to tell her my story and show her my life, ’cause I really want her to get hers together.
