A-Town singer Janelle Monae showed up and out with helped from The Roots to perform a Hendrix classic, Little Wing. It’s a very nice performance, if I say so myself.

I’m not even gonna front like I’m a huge Jimi Hendrix fan, but some vintage 1968 material surfaced tonight and I just knew it would be appropriate for this time of hour. This track can be found along with 11 more on People, Hell & Angels, a compilation album coming courtesy of Legacy Recordings.
