Eminem has been really working, in addition of being on his latest tour with Rihanna, he released a brand new single “Guts Over Fear” featuring Sia. The song will appear on his forthcoming album, Shady XV which will be released on November 28th.

On Mother’s Day, Eminem dedicated and debuted his latest single/visuals for “Headlights”. The song is dedicated to his mother Debbie Mathers. The visuals were directed by Spike Lee, and in the record you can hear Em make references to amend differences with his mother. His latest album, MMLP2 is in stores now.
The song is currently all over the radio, and rightfully so this record is a smash hit. After a teaser, Eminem finally releases the official video for his latest single “The Monster” featuring Rihanna. The video was directed by Rich Lee.

2013 welcomed another major release this month: Marshall Mathers LP 2, Eminem’s solo album after 3 years of one tremendous collaborative EP and inconvenient guest verses. From the promising announcement to the singles that weren’t as identical on terms of being as auspicious as the news, Marshall created the usual commercial success / built a certain amount of hype other than the obvious excitement of his fanbase. Over the past 5 years we’ve seen Shady change his style continuously, he put an end to all that by releasing MMLP2 — his most honest album. A body of work that isn’t easily understandable for new fans, and the complete opposite for people who’ve been connected to him for a long time period. As much as the title gives that impression, this album is nothing near a sequel. It’s the final piece to all of his discography. Man oh man. Talk about hip-hop heaven. With the purchase of Call Of Duty: Ghosts and a bonus track on MMLP2 comes with “Don’t Front”. Eminem recruits Buckshot BDI for this record, but Interscope only released a snippet of the record. Can’t wait to hear the full version.

With the opening track “Bad Guy” on Marshall Mathers LP 2 comes on and plays we finally can get an in depth look at the production/making behind it. The first half of the record was produced by S1 & M-Phazes, while Streetrunner handles the second half of the track. S1 talks about forming up with Sarah Jaffe (The Dividends) to back the first half of the record, and how the track got into Eminem’s hands.

Earlier today, Eminem called in (from a payphone) to DJ Whoo Kid to promote his upcoming album, Marshall Mathers LP 2. During the interview, Eminem discussed meeting and working with Rick Rubin for the first time, teaming up to work with Rihanna again & her very ways to bring life to choruses with her voice. He also discussed being in the studio a week or two prior Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse and more.
