Last night on the new season and very first episode of “Iyanla: Fix My Life” features the always unpredictable DMX. Iyanla traveled to the place where it all started for X, Yonkers NY. The episode featured his “wife” Tashera Simmons, his son Xavier, and Vanzant. Check out the full episode after the jump.
The next 90 minutes is not about a multiplatinum selling Hip-Hop artist or a celebrity. It’s about a deeply wounded man in a lot of pain. This show, is about the ravages of a longterm drug problem,” said Vanzant at the start of the segment. “I often say, I am not my brothers keeper, I am my brother. Earl Simmons, also known as DMX is my brother. He’s our brother. Earl, I pray you are watching, I support you, and I call forth your healing.”
According to reports from Nasir himself, the Queen’s emcee will not be performing at DPAC in Durham, North Carolina. We’ve heard reports about it but we were hoping it wasn’t true. Below is a tweet (s) from Nas, and the host 9th Wonder about the mishap/faulty promotion.
Update: Nas will be here in March.
Update #2: Flyer added. Purchase tickets here.
I want to attach an e-card to every person’s gift this year with a recording this. The crazy part is, this is same interview from when he had his show down with Google a few months back. LMFAO – yo, I can’t. Look at this shit above.
Dark Man X kicked it in Whoolywood with DJ Whoo Kid and talked about an array of things. Whoo Kid asks X where he was on 9/11, what’s the deal with a Ruff Ryders album, his relationships, dislike for Drake, Aaliyah’s project, and much more. Check out the dog after the break.
With his album Undisputed in stores now, DMX seems to start trouble at every chance he can get it seems. First he told us how he felt about Drake, and the Aaliyah album he’s executive producing, and now Dark Man X goes in on the Young Money barbie. In this interview with Taletela he reveals he’s not a fan of Nicki Minaj, but he can tolerate her. X also let’s us know he’s a Obama supporter.
“I don’t really listen to her. I tolerate it, if it happens to come on the radio or if her music is in somebody’s car playing, but when she’s like “Waikikiiiiiiiiiiiii,” I’m like “there’s no f**king way I’m ever going to listen to this b*tch again under no circumstances,” X admitted.
Fired up over some Henny, AllHipHop sat down with The Dog and discussed his feelings over Drake working on Aaliyah’s posthumous album and not including Timbaland, Missy, or anybody else that was a part of her life. We’ve heard X sound off on the issue over the past couple of weeks, but nothing like this. After the break see what I mean.
Lol oh shit. I love when DMX does interviews, especially with The Breakfast Club. Fresh and okay from his accident, X talks about his new album, hoping to catch Drake in an elevator, Ruff Ryders clique, doing the BET cypher, & a whole lot more. Definitely not an interview to skip over. Check the dog after the jump.
