After presenting at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, Billboard chatted with Cee-Lo Green backstage at the Billboard Music last night. He reveals details regarding the long awaited anticipated album from Goodie Mob, working on a brand new Gnarls Barkley project and more. Cee-Lo reveals that the title of the Goodie Mob album, as well as the release date.
Age Against The Machine is set to be released on August 27th.

The A&Rs at RCA were calling every and anybody to find a sound for her 2009 release, I Look To You. I worked on seven or eight different versions finally deciding on this one with additional parts from Simon Katz from Jamiroquai. Lyrically, Cee-Lo nailed it! At the time she was going though her very public separation with Bobby Brown. He wrote the words as if she was speaking directly to him. I wish I would’ve been able to hear her wonderful voice singing these words, but for now Cee-Lo will do. R.I.P. Whitney Enjoy!

While I was wearing red & khaki throughout the entire Superbowl, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A., LMFAO & Cee-Lo were all apart of the halftime performances. The trio of Madonna, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. performed the “like a virgin” singer’s first single “Give Me All Your Luvin.”
Yeah, what the hell is a “robot sex”, Cee-lo. Anyways this may be a left over from the last album “The Lady Killer“, but who knows.
