After a little hiatus, Black Milk released a new monster of a record last week and is currently prepping the release of a new studio album as well as instrumental series titled Fuzz, Freqs & Colors. Black Milk collaborates with illustrator Upendo “Pen” Taylor (Nike, Leroy Jenkins, Gatorade). Below is a a preview from the project entitled “Computer Ugly Ugly/ Why Worry.”
The process for each volume starts with Black and Pen trading beats and sketches and refining their works along the way. Throughout that exchange, the music is shaped by the visual art and the visual art is shaped by the music.

While the January 29th release date steadily approaching, Slum Village releases a brand new track entitled “Long Way Down.” With features including Young RJ, Black Milk, T3 & Victor Scope, this has to be one of my favorite records from the project so far.
