Last month BET taped this year’s 2013 6th annual BET Honors which was held at Washington D.C.’s Warner Theater. The event was hosted by Gabrielle Union which honored TD Jakes, Halle Berry, Lisa Leslie, Chaka Khan, and Clarence Avant. Music performances are provided by Erykah Badu, Brandy, Ledisi, Mint Condition, and Alicia Keys.

After being announced as the new Global Creative Director for Blackberry, Alicia Keys continues to break boundaries and records. Alicia Keys fifth studio album Girl On Fire was released in November and sold 150-175k during it’s first week.
Her album “Girl On Fire” has been certified platinum be surpassing 1 million units. 1,106,000 total to be exact.

After releasing her fifth studio album, Girl On Fire on November 29th, 2012, her first week sales projections are in. According to HDD, the “Fire We Make” singer projected sales are slated to be 150-175k. Even though this album hasn’t sold as much as her previous albums, but this will be enough to put Alicia Keys at the number 1 spot on the album charts next week.
