Another one of those guilty pleasure records, that you can’t help but love. So excuse me if you don’t understand why i’m posting it. Lol. Anyways, with consistent spins on the radio with major airplay, K Camp releases the official video for “Cut Her Off” off his latest EP, In Due Time. With a verse from Tity Boy, K Camp shows us that it ain’t nothing to cut her off.
Directed by Alex Nazari.
With the original version still continuing to take over clubs around the world, we have an urban remix for the DJ Snake & Lil Jon previous single. Here’s the urban remix for the latest “Turn Down For What”, which features Juicy J, 2 Chainz & French Montana. This isn’t bad at all, not sure why this wasn’t released earlier.
Check out the single after the jump.
I guess it’s not only the holiday season. Twerk Season in effect all year I guess. Anyways, 2 Chainz debuted this track last night in Atlanta, and today we receive the record in full. The track is entitled “Twerk Season” and according to B. Dot we may hear a full joint project between the two.
With a New Orleans type of record, Dos Chainz travels down to the N.O. to shoot the visuals from his latest single “Used 2″. He pays tribute to the Hot Boyz over this Mannie Fresh produced cut, and all the Hot Boys make a cameo in the video except B.G. who is currently incarcerated. Check out the video after the jump, and grab 2 Chainz sophomore album, B.O.A.T.S II: ME Time which is in stores now.
When Tity Boi became 2 Chainz he also became one of the most entertaining mainstream rappers of the moment. With the commercial success that was built around the first B.O.A.T.S, the sequel would make sense but if looking at the quality of the album it just seems confusing. With singles like “Feds Watching” & “Netflix” the album promised to be amusing, and it did just that. Average lyrics are never a problem when 2 Chainz is the situation, seeking for better is pointless. He has found the way to make songs for everyone to enjoy. The second B.O.A.T.S has prevailed over the first one yet the body of work remained the same, catchy hooks/lines and impeccable beats are his recipe. Read more
Today the 2013 Made In America festival is going on, and Hova was gracious enough to give the fans a live stream of the concert. The festival is being held at Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Along with Beyoncé who is the headliner and is slated to perform at 10:30. Here are full sets of performances from A$AP Rocky, Emeli Sandé, Public Enemy & 2 Chainz which can be found after the jump.
Not sure if R. Kelly is trying to lose fans or gain an younger audience because the music that he’s being releasing hasn’t really done anything for me. With no appearance from 2 Chainz, R. Kelly releases the official video for his first single “My Story”. His forthcoming album, Black Panties is scheduled to be released later this year. Anyways, the official visual can be found after the jump.
Even with the controversy surrounding the lawsuit between Robin Thicke and the Marvin Gaye family, Robin Thicke debuts a brand new visual. He releases the official visuals for the Blurred Lines deluxe edition featured “Give It 2 U” which features 2 Chainz & Kendrick Lamar. With the ladies dressed in cotton, Robin Thicke, 2 Chainz, perform stands of the statium while K. Dot travels around in a miniature truck. Great looking visuals. You can’t deny that this isn’t a great year for Robin Thicke. Also he’s performing tomorrow night at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
Directed by Diane Martel. The video can be found after the jump.
