After previewing this during one of his concerts, Machine Gun Kelly has finally liberated the bass heavy, “Peso” in CDQ format. The record features Pusha T & Meek Mill and is expected to be contributed for his forthcoming mixtape, Black Flag. Great use of that Aloe Blacc “I Need A Dollar” sample.
After releasing this a few days ago, Lecrae’s ode to all the graduates from their alma maters receives a brand new feature. Bobby Ray joins Lecrae on this celebration record. Here’s what he had to say about the record.
Proud of all the graduates out there. Never overlook the unique opportunity you have in education. There are many paths you could have taken, obstacles to deter you, and things to distract you, but you beat the odds. Education informs and helps elevate the paths we will take. I wrote a song reflecting on my journey rejecting the low expectations set for me by culture and media. Know that I’m praying for all the grads out there to live for something bigger than yourself! Don’t waste your life.
BX what’s good. Doley Bernays is a rising talent straight out my borough, and this is his newest joint set to appear on his upcoming EP, Just In Case. Originally premiered on XXL, take a listen to the MP Williams produced track below.
What a great opening skit – NWLA Recordings artist Christian’Dee comes forth with his newest piece of work, an eight track project which was mostly self produced, and contains no guest features. We’ve already heard some slappin’ records off this like “YoRappinAss,” so do yourself a favor and pop in after the break to stream/download the entire tape.
A new record from Devine Carama has hit the net, coming off his upcoming release, No Child Left Behind. Cop that project on June 28th FOR FREE if you like what you’ve heard, or purchase the CD on it’s official release July 2nd. The artwork above highlights the dope emcee and his two little girls back in ’06 at the MLK Day Freedom March in downtown Lexington, KY. Press play to the new music below, and gear up for the full thing. Here is what he had to say:
On this track I wanted to shine a little light. Drops a couple of gems but also have fun with the craft and just being an MC! Get people thinking a little bit.. Too much “ABC, 123″ in the game right now, which is cool but we gotta push the listeners understanding a little bit too. It’s ok to revisit bars a few times to see what path the MC is trying to travel. Enjoy.
The wait is over. Boston native D-Man finally releases his sophomore mixtape, The Parcae, with collaborative help from partner G-Way. This project took two years of solid work to put together, so this particular tape is something special for the kid – The production on here is serious from what I’ve come across, so go ahead and stream/download the 18-track ensemble right after the jump.
As if I needed another love song to put me down – Rubie Evans delivers this beautiful record as a sneak peak of what to expect off her debut EP, MISSunderstood. Bad for my emotions, but good for my ears. Take a listen to the new joint below.
