Over the 6 years I have been doing this I have been introduced to some wonderful people, some great talent as well but none have impressed me more than Lexington, KY native Devine Carama. What I like about Devine is him not having the fear to create those out the box records, his mind is very complexed when it comes to making music, that and the ability to spit his ass off equals a great combination, a winning combination in my eyes. The latest is another track which just shouts “realness” from the word go. ‘Satan Radio (66.6 FM)’ is the first official offering from his Believing In Forever project which will drop on Oct. 27th, Devine’s birthday. Read below what he had to say regarding this release.
“I often wonder what comes first the chicken or the egg… Does radio simply play what the general public likes or does the radio bang us over the head again and again and again with the music until we start to like it. Back in the 80′s & 90′s urban radio had balance in its substance and sound. Today everything sounds the same for the most part and the majority of the music’s themes seem to be self destructive.”
The Boi-1da.net freestyle series continues on strong and the weekly releases have so far been up to a high standard. Following that trend is Seth Narley who takes some ArrabMuzik production originally used by Fabolous & Jadakiss for a spin. Seth comes with the fly talk, quick to belittle anybody who has ever put him down. Look out for Seth’s next official single which is dropping soon.
