This is another single from Eternal’s highly anticipated project Age Of Eternal dropping in 2014. It features nationally renowned poet, author, professor and screenwriter, Dasan Ahanu. The record is produced by Eternal and speaks to the souls of the people that feel disenfranchised. and at the cusp of giving up hope on themselves as well as their nation.

Believe it or not, I’m a fan of both these artists. Anyways, Lil Scrappy teams up Young Buck for this new single “They Hate Me”. Lil Scrappy just recently signed a joint venture between his record label and Sony Entertainment to release his forthcoming album, Reparations, available Spring 2014. Buck’s guest verses always on point.
Out Da Box Radio is happy to bring you a brand new interview with emcees’ Frank Nitt and Illa J also known as the “Yancey Boys”. The group consists of the previous mentioned emcees, alongside the late Legendary Artist “J. Dilla” as the prime Producer. We were fortunate to speak with both Frank and Illa on a number of topics which included their new album “Sunset Blvd”, as well as the influence and impact their great brother “J. Dilla” had on them. Frank Nitt also took the time to share some insight into how the collaborations came about for the album, as well as the mission him and Illa out to accomplish with the music. He took a moment to also speak on his recent solo releases. One of them, being a collaborative project with producer extraordinaire “Madlib” and expounded on what it was like working with him. He even spoke on the similarities between Madlib and Dilla, and gave some insight into how Dilla related to Lib, being an admirer of the earlier “Lootpack” records. We also got a chance to hear both artists speak on memorable moments shared with Dilla while out in L.A. As the interview came to a close, both artists delved briefly into their future goals as well as the next step for the group and the label Delicious Vinyl. Overall, I had a great time speaking with Frank and Illa J. They had a very happy and humble vibe during the interview, which made for a successful flowing conversation. Please take the time to listen and definitely feel free to share if you like what you hear. We hope you enjoy!
Motown Universal’s secret weapon STORI releases her first mixtape project titled #BADASSDAME. The New Jersey native showcases a balance of hip hop mixed with edgy pop melodies reminiscent of Lauryn Hill with her smooth flow and buttery vocals. With production from a slew of new comers, this mixtape is set to hold down the appetites of music enthusiasts and fans till her full length debut album is released in 2014.
After releasing “Can’t Lose” one of my favorite Detroit rhymers eLZHi releases a brand new track entitled “The Recap”. Over some smooth Karriem Riggins produced production, eLZhi vents and expresses some deep lyrics over this soulful track. We’re ready for this album, are you.

Usually don’t post any of A$AP Nast music but this record we can’t deny a post for it. A$AP Nast teams up with Method Man over this old school sounding record which features A$AP Ty Beats on the production. The official video has been released and we’re digging it. Shouts to Ferdy Man on the heads up about this record because this is something that needs to be heard. Co-sign.
Check out the official video after the jump.
Even though I’m not a fan of the song itself, but it’s always great to hear some new and unreleased Pimp C vocals. Yesterday a radio rip of the remix was released, but we held out to post the official CDQ version of the Pimp C featured “Tom Ford”. This kinda made the song a little better, always gotta respect the Pimp. R.I.P.
After releasing the project “Remixxes“, Redman is geared up and set to release the mixtape for his upcoming delayed “Muddy Waters 2″. He previewed a couple of new songs for the fans, and for me, this sounds pretty good. Red doesn’t hardly disappoint but we shall see, just not a fan of Redman spitting over down south sounding records tho.
